Yahoo Messenger?

Both can be adjusted from Yahoo Messenger Preferences which are in the Messenger menu at the top of YM. Look in the Privacy category for Idle status. Then choose what you want and click Apply. Now go to the Messages category and under Miscellaneous uncheck the box that says Enable Audibles. Now click OK.
