How much cough syrup do you drink to get high?

First and foremost, I am not, will not, and would never dream of getting high. I am a high school student attending a medical technology cl and we have to do an oral report plus an essay on the dangers of getting high. We each got to choose an over the counter drug from a bowl and write how much it takes to get high off of, the risk factors, the experience, etc. And the drug I ended up with was cough syrup, something like NyQuil I believe. Whatever you take for a cough I suppose. The problem for me is I have absolutely no experience with drug use or alcohol use, so I'm kind of lost. The book I bought to try and help was a let down and a little too much for me to understand. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
