I have a swollen left jaw/face?

Definitely get in to see your doctor ASAP. Is there any chance it could be an abscessed tooth? Do you have dental problems? And the bump you are describing may be an infection or abscess that I mentioned a moment ago but could be the actual muscle tissue. Go see the doctor. Or since it's the weekend, if it changes at all - ie; starts hurting more, swells up to a larger size, any change whatsoever, no matter how seemingly insignificant.. Even a small amount of increased pain or swelling is your body telling you to get your backside to the doctor or the Emergency Room ASAP!! In the interim, try an over the counter painkiller with anti-inflammatory properties like Advil, ibuprofen or Naproxen (Aleve). And, put an ice pack covered in a dish towel over the swollen area. 20 minutes on, 20 minutes off. Good Luck my friend!
