Anyone been able to feel what position your baby is in?

I always feel around on my belly, and I always feel different things, but I can never make out what they are. I'm 36 weeks now, and when I was 34 weeks, my baby was breech and I'm scared that he is still breech. So I've been trying to feel. When I look and feel my stomach sometimes, there will be a pretty big bulge right above my belly on, and it's pretty hard. Could this be his head?? I don't know what else it could be. Anybody else been able to tell what was what?
