tell them you care about them, but you can no longer be around them when they are doing this stuff because it is a serious problem. tell them that you are just trying to be a good friend and let them know. dont speak for other people.. they will want to know who has said what and think they're being talked about behind their backs. if other people want to say something to them too, then that's their business
