Wouldn't teleportation using quantum entanglement still kill the original person?

We're not even to the point that we can send simple text messages as emails or FAXes without transmission errors. Now multiply the complexity of a human being with that same error rate, it wouldn’t be pretty. Who wants to beta test that machine??
