Crossbearers - If your mother was decapitated with a hacksaw would you wear one around your neck?

The cross represented the cruelest form of death. The fact that Jesus rose from the dead disarmed the power of death attached to the cross (and the fear of it). It now represents victory over death and devotion to the one who conquered it.
